| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
we did this from the Canadian side, so payed our entrance fee at Mt Gosford park and then drove down to Pavilon Rose Delima to park. Plenty of parking, although this adds a bunch of road miles (ended up being 13 miles round trip) |

First time we've crossed the border for a hike! We biked down the road from Pavilon Rose Delima to the beginning of the trail as the woman working at the Mt Gosford Park entrance told us the roads were bad past the pavilon. They turned out to be fine, so we had a nice bike ride but could have driven to shave off a few miles each way. The ATV trail is steep and a little rocky but easy to follow and clear of grass/brush (a nice change from snow and whitecap!). We came out at the border ridge and turned left, at first thinking the very first little summit was Boundary. There are a ton of salt sticks and hunting blinds along the border path. We realized that Boundary was two summits over so we followed the ridge over to it, there was some grass but overall pretty clear and super easy to follow. Great views from the top and felt great to get 99 for our HH! |
