Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: !!! The private access road from ME-4/Reeds Mill Rd has been chained off to prevent further deterioration (according to a local we were lucky to meet at the turnoff; he wasn’t sure if it will be reopened after the end of mud season). Currently, the trailhead can only be reached from East Madrid following Potato Hill Rd (gravel/dirt rd, ok to drive with clearance/SUV).

Comments: Some postholing between Boundary Ledge and the AT. Standing water (difficult to circumnavigate) on AT to the Horn. Prepare for wet feet.
