Comments
Comments: A mixture of dry/wet and a bit muddy for the first part and microspikes for the last 2.5 miles. A few short dry sections but not worth taking the spikes off from the false summit (bare rock slabs with AT medallion) to the true summit. Middle of the snow trail pretty solid but as soon as you step off a foot or two, you're postholing. There is one steep icy section that takes a little patience to navigate but no problem with spikes. Even saw some navigating in the trees without spikes - ha! It was nice being at the summit without bugs.
