Comments
Comments: Ascended Spruce Hill trail which was dry and in good shape. Bickford Brook trail along the north side of Ames Mountain had large patches of snow that could not be avoided though none it was over the tops of our boots. Snow in the woods around the summit of Speckled but none on the rocks. Descent along the Blueberry Ridge trail was unimpeded though there are some large pools of water just after the split from the Bickford Brook trail. The descent from Blueberry MTN was steep and wet which forced us to the margins. This portion of the trail was in the worst shape of the entire 7.1 mile circuit.
