Comments
Comments: There is a lot of active logging happening in the area. Taking advice of someone who had been up recently and wanting to avoid the logging slash that is clogging the "usual" route, I left the road earlier and took the first major logging road heading north west. After 0.6 of a mile, there are two small cairns marking the start of another logging road heading Northeast towards the summit.

It was also here, at 2,500' that significant snow started. Snowshoes are a must as the snow is very soft and (was) totally unbroken. Even with them, I was postholing pretty frequently. I followed the logging road for another 0.6 of a mile, before it ends and the bushwhack starts properly. There is no discernible herd path, aside from some moose trails. There are two very tight sections, at the beginning and the very end, but for the most part, it is fairly open and strightforward.
