Comments
Comments: Great day on the trails. Late start of 1pm. Saw one snowshoes and about 4 barebooters. Half of the hike you could maybe get away with spikes only but top half could use some snowshoe love (barebooter today didn't do much to help pack things down, just chopped things up a bit). Should be packed down soon with some more snowshoes traffic. There was some pretty icy spots down low but nothing not easily managed with spikes or mountaineering snowshoes. Nice sunset coming down. Ran in to two skiers earlier in the day who hopefully had a good (short) run down the drainage. First ME 4k in winter for us.
