Comments
Comments: Underneath a little bit of snow was a lot of slush. Many exposed rocks. "Water crossings" all exposed, with leaves and just a little water. Some ice, all avoidable. Had rain, sleet, and snow today so the best hope is for a few good days of freeze to solidify everything. More solid footing the last mile and a half, but still not optimal. On the way out, enough snow had fallen to make conditions the last mile or so, slick. Leave the snowshoes at home.
