Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked in Route 113/Baldface lot. Lot was 1/4 full at 9:00 a.m. and almost full at noon. Since I only saw three or four other hikers I am guessing most folks were headed for the Baldfaces.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The one water crossing of the Cold River is on a very neat dam. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in great shape. No obstructions. Trail is well-signed. A combination of newer and faded blazes. Trails were easy to follow. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several. Seems a popular trail for the puppies.

Comments: A pleasant hike with some decent views from the summits. The Spring was also worth the 20 minute or so detour.
