| Comments: |
Trails were mostly dry with some mud patches that could be hopped.
Foliage is still mostly green, but did note some trees starting to change in a few areas, plus red hobblebush. Decent morning weather with partly sunny skies. After encountering scores of hikers on Wachusett yesterday (no masks or panicked people), was surprised to see two masked hikers scurry deep into the woods, afraid of other hikers on this somewhat remote trail. Safe to say they still won't be the first people in the world to contract COVID from hiking, but the vegetation may not have fared as well.
Support liberty. |
