Comments
Comments: Speck Pond Trail was in decent shape and easy to follow, even with the few-year-old logging in the middle portion. Some slippery rock in the upper elevations.

Mahoosuc Trail from Speck Pond to Old Speck Trail was in good shape with some minor mud and occasional slippery rock. From Speck Pond to May Cutoff also had some wet rock and occasional mud. Mud could be vexing in a few areas if we get some rain in the coming days.

I believe the summit of Mahoosuc Arm may be just north of the May Cutoff - found an old cairn about 10-15 feet off the trail.

Aside from the lower Speck Pond Trail, it was a fairly nice hike with tons of views once on the ridge.
