Great day for a hike. Trail is dry with the exception of a few minor muddy patches. Eyebrow trail starts out steep, but cable, rungs and ladders are not nearly as difficult as it sounds for dry conditions. Different story in wet or icy conditions. A few sneak preview spots with great views along the way. Trail undulates along the top. Feels a bit like up in both directions at times. Fire tower at the top with spectacular 360 degree view. Unfortunately no view from the base of the tower. Cairn and geologic survey tag off to the left side of the flat. |
