First mile of Success Pond Road is in better shape than previous years, but tomorrow OHRV season is beginning..some washboard spots and gullies and bumps as usual all the way to the trail head...not that much room for vehicles at trailhead, maybe 6 or so.. |

this was a trail maintenance cruise/work..trail is in good shape with no major obstacle blowdowns..few places need trimming and drainages need spring cleaning... |

Early morning start, actually day 2 of trail check and work...yesterday only made it to ME/NH line 1.2 miles in due to couple major blowdown removals..today hiked to the summit first and returned doing more blowdown removals (a dozen or so)..hazy view morning but still could see quite a ways... |
