Comments
Comments: I wore spikes until I was halfway up to the col between West and Avery, then swapped out for snowshoes and heel lifts. From West over to South Horn, there had been maybe 2-3 pairs of snowshoes since the last snowstorm, so snowshoes were a requirement but the trail was easy to follow. From the Horns, the trail was relatively packed down though I left my snowshoes on until intersecting with Firewardens again. Overall, a lovely hike!
