First one in the parking lot at 8am. Bare booted the first 1 mile then switched to snow shoes for the rest of the hike. Definitely needed them. Snow drifts shin to thigh deep at some points. The last steep section was hard packed, I was happy to have the spikes on the snowshoes to help me more quicker up and down that section. |
