I lost my 1L metal insulated water bottle (Microlite) just below the West Peak summit as I was descending on the return trip. If you find it and are willing to ship it back to me, I will reimburse you. |

Challenging ascent to both peaks. I wore crampons (K10 katoohlas) the entire time. Light dusting of snow on a well packed trail up to West. The trail between West and East peaks is less traveled but I was able to follow a snow blown track. The ascent of the East ledges were a bit daunting in the wind and low visibility (I was solo) but I took it slow and carefully followed the cairns. Lots of bare rock but didn't want to risk a slip so I kept my crampons on. Took my time on the descent of East ledges as I didn't want to get hurt knowing I wouldn't see anyone all day. Was able to enjoy the beauty around me once I was off the east ledges. Return to West a lot easier as I followed my blown over tracks. Visited the Lean To on my descent. That's when I realized I had dropped my water bottle. I was too tired to climb back up to get it. |
