| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We were able to drive to the parking lot at the trail head. Parking lot is not plowed, but there is not too much snow. Road icy in spots, but we went in with a 2 wheel drive, an all wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive. |

Several, but all easily done. Many key rocks did not have ice on them. Flat ice held, but heard cracking. |

Lots of walking around downed trees. |

There was no right foot gear today. We bare booted it, wore snowshoes and micro spikes. Snow was fairly deep in spots above tree line. |
