Comments
Comments: Trails were dry and leaf-covered in the lower elevations and the frost/ice line was at around 3000 feet. The ridge was icy in many spots and many of the bog bridges have sunk, but it is easy to go around most of them. I packed microspikes but they wouldn't have helped on this hike. After the snow and rain today (the 26th), however, conditions have likely changed.
