Comments
Comments: 1/2 mile hike after gate to where Appalachian trail crosses... take a left and begin your adventure.... easy river crossing.... trail very juicy in spots. It gets steep but nothing to serious... awesome views of caribou valley around 2750 ft and up. Popping out of tree line on & off is very cool. Overgrown in spots, not enough to lose trail but enough at times I couldn’t see where my foot was stepping... I could of stepped on a snake and not know it lol. Once it leveled out around 3,500 ft it got very wet & muddy to the junction of the sugarloaf spur. .05 mile to summit. I was basically clouded in with times the Bigelows and crockers were visible. Spent hour at summit but clouds didn’t go anywhere. Great hike tho.... comfortable temps with no wind or bugs... I’ll take it ✌🏻
