Out enjoying Maine trails. A nice an easy hike with some great views. Walk pass the gate in about .1 mile follow the carriage road up to the left. Most of the trail is on this carriage road with easy grades. At a point where it levels off, an orange arrow points uphill in the woods, follow the short trail up from here. There are two nice views - the first looks west and north with views out to the presidentials. Follow the trail another 0.1 mile to the view to the south and east. 0.9 mile each way. |
