Comments
Comments: Two of us used snowshoes the entire day and one of us used spikes the whole way. Either are probably acceptable unless there is a danger of afternoon melting. The top mile had some softer areas with looser snow but there is still a firm base underneath and there was no post holing. Currently there are not any icy sections. (It didn't look like any one had been down Grafton Loop trail nor south on the Mahoosuc. There was one set of snowshoe tracks heading up the Eye Brow.)
