Comments
Comments: 6 of us hiked to North Brother. The trail was somewhat broken out (we could see the indent) there was at least a few inches fresh snow on Marston Trail. When we got to NB, it was windy, cold and zero visibility. By group consensus we decided not to venture on to Fort today. when we got back to the Marston Tr/Mt. Coe Trail junction, 3 of us decided to head to South Brother & Coe. The other 3 went back down to bunkhouse. The Mt. Coe Trail was not broken out, so we broke it out. Thankfully, the snow was light and fluffy. A lot of ups and downs for still no views. There was a section heading to Coe, shortly after the junction with the South Brother spur where blazes were not as obvious. It was still a great day out. Not sure what the trail will be like after the snow we got yesterday, but it was well packed when we were done. So much less snow than when we were up there a year ago at this time.
