2 areas where snow had not frozen over to bridge, had to rock hop a little. |

Trail to AT on Firewarden had been broken out last week and you could still see the path. Junction of AT towards Avery had blown over a bit but still easy to see trail. I met up with 2 others that were hiking to Avery, I wore snowshoes the entire time the other 2 went back and forth between snowshoes and various traction.
Due to my snowmobile driver picking me up I had to turn around prior to peak to make the meet, the other 2 hikers continued on to Avery. I had fun butt sliding down the upper section on the way down which helped cut out the time I lost heading up.
