Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: parked at the second bridge, as there is a deep rut right before crossing it..room for 4 or 5 and more nearby..only two minutes to actual trail beginning..Success Pond Road not too bad except for the first mile..has been graded twice this year, actually got up to 40 mph in a spot or two!!

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes: 3 on Notch Trail rock hopped, caution on mossy surface..water levels normal 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a trail check/work day, just a few rotten bridging on Notch Trail and a nice deep mud pit on Mahoosuc up near the alpine meadows..

Comments: trail check/work day, nice colors though somewhat a gray sky..huge bull moose on the way in near Goose Eye trailhead..adopters do a nice job on Notch Trail, Mahoosuc from Notch jct to Full Goose does not have an adopter..help!! Of course, trail is passable...
