| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Success Pond Road is in GREAT shape. The initial portion is a bit rocky and roughed up from the ATV's, but once you get on the restricted portion (pretty quick) it's great. For reference, I drive a Mini Cooper and think its easy. Room for about 5 cars |

A great day in the mountains with my SSW48 partner, Hallie. We went out and back via Goose Eye Trail. An amazing hike for the senses, from the 'smell' of fall, to the blackberries along the road, to the amazing views, to the smooth trees needed to tarzan down the slabs. Pretty easy climb for a great payoff. Today was the first day where it felt like fall, a stiff breeze on the summit made it interesting. Gloves and hats came out for the first time in a while, there might have been a few moths flying from them :)
Several is Success Lot also (52wav) |
