Comments
Comments: Went up the steep table rock trail to table rock. Nice spot... then continued on trail linking back up to the AT. Nice easy hike to baldpate lean to then it gets real steep to west peak. Nice rock stairs for the approach. Socked in the clouds, headed over to East peak and hung out there for hour and a half waiting for the clouds to lift. Chilly wait but worth it because the clouds did start to lift giving me wonderful views. Satisfied I headed back over to west peak with great views along the way. I saw a half dozen north bound hikers and a spruce grouse at west peak summit. Walked the trail with me a few hundred feet until it farted into the woods. Baldpates was a wonderful hike but not as tough as I thought it would be. Still plenty of blueberries up high.
