Parking/Access Road Notes: I was able tor drive a small car on Burnt Mountain road (coming from the north) to the junction with east Branch road. There is one washout area that was risky and required care.

Comments: I bushwhacked towards the col from the east. Crossing the long flat area was not that bad, though I bet it could get swampy. There was some steep going, tight woods, and regrowth. Highpoints are recognized.
