Did the full loop from Redington to CVR which added some mileage but it was easy to descend. Did not feel like climbing Crocker again after doing it twice! It was around 12 miles, I arrived to the car at 5:45pm.
Herd path is well marked with tape and quite visible so very easy to follow. Still, take a map and a compass and know how to use them. Did a lot of research before and it paid off as I knew what to look for.
Met about 20 people, mostly through hikers, and one family with 2 young boys and a small dog coming down from Crocker. |
