Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The road definitely requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle with HIGH clearance. The last couple of miles to the start of the trail is very steep and heavily eroded with piles of large rocks comprising most of the road.

Comments
Comments: Great, easy to follow path all the way to the summit. From the point where we couldn't drive the car anymore we hiked up the last remnants of the logging road as it became narrower and narrower until turning into a clear path. The point at which the path turns left to the border trail is well marked by deliberately placed logs, cairns, and arrows. The border trail then seamlessly blends into a herd path, and is easy to follow the entire way to the summit. There are a ton of delicious, wild strawberries along the logging road at the beginning/end of the hike.
