A few minor crossings and a lot of mud holes that can not be drained on the trail. |

Only saw 1 yellow birch tree across the trail that was a walk around. Some bog bridges need to be replaced and mud holes need to have step stones installed. There has been a lot of rock step and step stone work done on these trails but there is need for more. |

| Comments: |
A really nice day with temps from 55 to 70, sunny early then clouds and sprinkles by 3PM. Rain came down hard when I was headed back home on Route 2 in Newry. Saw about 60 hikers and 6 dogs. Nice views at several areas on these trails. An early start gave me time to get to Speck Pond and Mahoosuc Arm. |
