well no blazes out there in the wilderness of course and a lot of blowdowns on the caribou trail I felt |

OMG! mosquitoes on the way up with some black flies and then black flies in swarms on the way down. |

Well I don't recall the last peak I have stopped so little on the bugs were so bad. The only relief was the peak which had a breeze going on. If it stopped for a second you could see the swarms coming for us, it was bad! The worst I have ever been in for sure. If the black flies were not so bad on the way down then maybe we could have enjoyed all the water and waterfalls that looked so nice but it was hell to stop and get attacked. The big spary, deet, anything did nothing to touch these bastards. We'll the 6 of us regardless took the bachelorette photos at the top and along the way as we camped at the basin campground for the weekend!great views definitely! |
