Parking/Access Road Notes: Room for about 6 vehicles at Safford Brook Trailhead. I was the only one there all day.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 2 wooden bridges on lower Safford Brook Trail and all the other crossings were easy hops.

Trail Maintenance Notes: All blowdowns cleared from these trails recently, Thanks Maine A.T. Club.

Bugs: Black flies and mosquitoes were bothersome all day, had to keep moving.

Lost and Found: Nothing. 
 
Comments
Comments: Early start on this great weather day, temps from 50 to 80, clear blue sky with views in all directions from the peaks and viewpoints. Saw 3 hikers today, 2 snakes and many toads. It was hot in the sun and not much of a breeze.
