Comments
Comments: Did this one with Lynn and Beth. The day was perfect - there was a planned late start, great company, blue skies, warm temperatures, endless views, total solitude, and an early finish. After last Sunday’s trail-breaking suffer-fest to Nancy this one was like a vacation - we were able to follow Erik Bertrand’s week-old tracks most of the way, which made things nice and easy. The snow was firm the entire way and besides a few slips here and there there was great traction. The trackers were compelelty obliterated about 1/2 mile from the top - combination of fresh snow and wind. At that point it’s just head to the top anyway so not a big deal. Snowshoes the whole way.
