Comments
Comments: Beautiful day with challenging snow conditions. Broke trail from 0.5 miles to the summit. No one has continued south across the ridge yet. Crusty snow which breaks into unpredictable chunks, with powdery holes up to three feet deep. Some felt deeper due to the steepness of the trail. Each step was a surprise. Hard icy crust near the summit.
