Comments
Comments: We followed a partly broken snowshoe track to the registration box. This section was crusty enough that it would have been possible to bare boot, but we snowshoed. A little beyond we met a gentleman descending, who had broken the trail out from there up to the view point ledge. He commented that he had difficulty following the trail in places, but just stay to the right and we would be on track. We broke trail from the ledge up to the summit, encountering powdery drifts of 2-3 feet. The trees were beautifully coated with snow.
