Difficult conditions. Broke trail to both summits. Not enough snow to completely cover the rocks, but enough to use shoes nearer the summit. Up at the summit, there are boulders with gaps bridged by snow. Need to probe with hiking poles to find out what part will support your weight. Very slow going. |
