This is a nice trail to a great summit. There's a few steep pitches, but overall it's relatively moderate. The views are cool, and a different perspective to the area. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and have 3 or 4 hours to kill. Today was kind of a cold-weather hike; 33 degrees when I started at 7:30, and the wind on the exposed summit made me wear a hat, gloves, and pullover. Views were nearly unlimited, though. Early start meant summit to myself. |
