| Comments: |
Stunning view looking down south to Mt Washington and the panorama of the Whites, and north to the Saddleback, Sugarloaf and more. Previous night’s rain made for slick and tricky descents through the steeps from the AT to the tent site though. Passed about a half dozen parties today.
This one kicked my butt more than I expected but was so worth it. Wish I had the legs left to have run up the AT to grab East Goose Eye - we saw two hikers up there as we were on the main Peak and I bet the view was great. |
