Comments
Comments: My 9-year-old and I hiked Doubletop in the afternoon as everyone else in the family had climbed a mountain during the weekend and he was feeling left out. The trail was a bit slippery, but we made it to the top without issue. As we were about to head down the clouds parted and Katahdin, the Brothers and Coe could be seen as well as the notch below. My son's mind was blown. We made it down and back to the campsite just before sundown. I will have photos, a video and a full trip report on my blog.
