Parking/Access Road Notes: 8.1 mile dirt road is somewhat of a washboard, slow going.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes: Rock hopping over 2 streams not a problem. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Somewhat grown in with long grass at the bottom, some mud spots further up with a little standing water in a few areas, mostly avoidable. No blowdowns. NH-Maine state line sign is gone. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Stanley had a great trip. Summit ledges were dry, no problem.

Comments: Great out of the way hike on a busy weekend, only saw 2 other hiking parties all day. Beautiful views in all directions.
