8.1 mile dirt road is somewhat of a washboard, slow going. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail |

Rock hopping over 2 streams not a problem. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Somewhat grown in with long grass at the bottom, some mud spots further up with a little standing water in a few areas, mostly avoidable. No blowdowns.
NH-Maine state line sign is gone. |

Stanley had a great trip. Summit ledges were dry, no problem. |

Great out of the way hike on a busy weekend, only saw 2 other hiking parties all day. Beautiful views in all directions. |
