Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, June 20, 2015
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking available at both lots.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water levels were low making all water crossings easy rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mud Brook Trail: In good shape along it's entire length. Caribou Trail: From the HOL down on both sides there are blowdowns. They are much heavier on the 113 side. On the 113 side herd paths allow you to get past the blowdowns. On the Bog Road side step under or over does the trick.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one in the company of three girls. The four of them were having a good time.
Bugs
Bugs: Surprisingly they were light to non-existent.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A

Comments
Comments: The only thing to add is a note about the Caribou Trail from the Wilderness Boundary on the 113 side up to the HOL. The trail is very rocky with edges going all which way which makes going kinda tedious.
