Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Easily found and followed the logging road leading up the valley of the old Clearwater Brook trail (labeled as Old County Rd/Elephant Mt Road in Google Maps) for about 3 miles to a wide siding with plenty of parking. Road had a couple of rough spots but nothing my Legacy couldn't handle (4 wheel drive not needed).

Comments
Comments: From where we parked on the logging road, we followed a herd path to about 3200' before it petered out. From there we were able to follow a small brook up to just below the col between the peaks. Rather than head for the col, we kept left and headed for the SW peak. The route alternated between open woods and thick stuff, everthing you'd expect on a BW.
