Comments: Missed ATV trail to White Cap (grass road on right before logging road made with slash heads uphill on left). Ended up bushwhacking from top of old logging operation ~ 3200 ft to ridge of NKD. Found herd path and followed south to glass jar. Stayed on herd path on ridge to ATV trail to White Cap. Found herd path on left (small cairn) at 3650 ft. Quick run to canister. Took ATV trail right back to car. Great day with some new friends Jill, Ken & Ed and my new wife! Nice day to get 97 & 98! Don't underestimate the gravel road time. From 27 Tim Pond & Bear Brook over an hour! Nice to get then this way, easier to find herd path from NKD summit and stay on than trying to find it from the White Cap col. Just saying.
