South end parking lot is good gravel, free, with 10+ spots available. Only two being used Saturday night. North end AT parking lot also with plenty of room. |

Most blow downs cleared this spring. Northern approach to Long Mountain only blazed with orange tape. Trail lightly used and in good condition. |

A few blackflies and mosquitoes - not problematic. |

 | Comments: |
Campsites on western side maintained by AMC and include outhouses. East half sites are MATC and are more primitive. Trail is relatively young and lightly used. Most of the trail is free of the heavy erosion that is so common. |
