| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The road from highway to gatehouse is perfect. From the gatehouse to the high bridge turn off it is fairly good. After high bridge it is very bad. A truck with good clearance can go all the way to the proposed parking. I was able with great caution to get my car up three of the four miles to the staging area. If you are into mountain biking this would be the place to do it. You could get your bike all the way to the White Cap trail. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The water in the three stream crossings was fairly low today. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two 'crawl-unders' and a couple of step overs on the White cap trail, about midway up. Otherwise the trails were in good condition. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The perfect trail for dogs. Lots of water, a bit of snow, lots of moose and dear tracks to sniff and lots of moose poop to eat and roll in. |

none |

| Comments: |
White Cap Mountain in 100 Mile Wilderness.
Saw lots of trucks and hunters on the way in but we had the trail to ourselves. The views from the top are spectacular, well worth the effort. |
