Comments
Comments: From Route 141 Under Power Lines and white blazed trail

A quick up and down this short but steep way to the top of Mt.Tom. One or two inches of snow on this south facing trail, some bare areas where you can see the weekend traffic beat the surface down. Not too hard to find enough snow and ice for the Micro's, up higher on a couple of rocky areas where significant ice was, you had to tread carefully. Could see snow squalls to the south and west from the summit but none where I was. The stairs at the top had some ice on them still but had to side-step them in order to avoid concrete on spike contact.
