Comments
Comments: Yes this is a few days late, but thought the basic info would be helpful. Lovely trails around Millvale Reservoir, about 5 miles! Went in late Nov and took a right from where we parked (Middle Road, near Turkey Hill Farm and Children of Israel Cemetery). This time we took a left, ended up at the cemetery. Knew someone buried there, so we went in to visit and pay our respects. Several small herd paths beyond there made life interesting, a little bushwhacking, came out on East Broadway. NEVER get lost in remote wilderness areas in the Whites and similar places, but got confused in Haverhill! Had the Haverhill Trails Guide and when we saw Kimball Farm, we figured it out from there. Went back into the woods followed the trail around the reservoir. It was frozen enough to support ice fishermen and a few hockey games, I was tempted to walk across because I knew that side was where the car was. I did not know the integrity of the ice near the opposite shore, figured with my luck it would be weak. Very pretty woods, takes you to the pumping station, got on the road here and was back to the car shortly.

Haverhill Trails Committee has a nice little guide with maps of all their properties. Plenty to choose from! cityofhaverhill.com
