Comments
Comments: XC skied in from NH. Tons of bowed over trees on Wapack Trail, particularly on the half mile just north of the NH border. Maybe 4-6 inches of snow at the parking lot, and 8-12 inches on the ridge. It's definitely compacting down a lot though, and there was underlying slush in a lot of the trail. Saw a bunch of people on MA side, all of whom were barebooting; even if it would have originally made more sense to snowshoe, not much point now, though microspikes would still be helpful. Kind of tough conditions for skiing at least, but still had a great time.
