Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Big lot was filled to the brim. Folks are to be commended in parking closely and not wasting space. Some were parked in the side that said "no parking," however. One car on rt 119, which can get you a ticket. Old Pierce Road had many vehicles along it. Not sure if this is o.k. (in the past it wasn't), but the signage along the opposite side said "No parking on this side." We parked on Old Pierce and were o.k. The old trailhead further down 119 had some spaces. If you do park on Old Pierce, please be considerate of the neighbors. Don't want this to go the way of Diana's Bath in NH>

Comments
Comments: back to staying in MA officially. Many vehicles here, but trails weren't that crowded. People were good about masks and social distancing. Great views from the summit. Made a loop of this and intended to take Wapack to the border. Went a little into NH, but only a couple people in this area; so we kept to the spirit of the rules, if not the letter. There is no indication on the Wapack itself that you have crossed (we found this out later), but a good idea is that where the State Line Trail leaves is the general area. Nice bench near here. Would like to come back and do more of the Wapack when the virus goes away.
