Dogs are not allowed on the Wildlife Sanctuary trails, but there were several dogs enjoying the Wachusett Mt trails. |

North Meadow Tr, Chapman Tr, Dickens Tr, Harrington Tr (to summit), Old Indian Tr, West Side Tr, Semuhenna Tr, Harrington-Dickens-Chapman-North Meadow (descent)
Nice hike through the Wildlife Sanctuary trails, then one of the "standard" routs up Wachusett. Hardly anyone on the Chapman or Dickens Trails, but the Harrington Trail had quite a few hikers, as expected. Summit area was moderately crowded, I've seen it much worse. It was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day, but that didn't happen. Still, the air was clear, so the views were decent. It was easy to pick out the Boston skyline. |
