Comments
Comments: Good training day. Bare and Hitchcock were small and with limited views But had a few scree slopes to keep it interesting. We marched on to two or three more little Sisters as far as where we stopped last week - unnamed peak marked 897’ on the state park map. Officially I think this was 6.6 mi RT/1100 gain although with the numerous PUDs I counted 1650’ gain.
Made it in time for Barstow’s fabulous drive thru ice cream again.

The views are better when you hike eastward from Skinner State Park to the Summit House vs our westward path, but it was a lovely workout with manageable crowds.
